2000 to 2008 Walt Disney Feature Animation
Artistic involvement ranged from Computer Graphics Artist in Model Development, CG Modeler for Characters or Sets/Props, to Layout Technical Director. Films include The Little Mermaid (Ariel's Beginning), Meet the Robinsons, Lorenzo, Chicken Little, Home on the Range, Magic Lamp, One by One, and Wild Life.
1996 to 2000 Walt Disney Pictures
Responsibilities included the creation of 3D digital models for live action visual effects. Film projects included Gone in 60 Seconds, Pearl Harbor, Armageddon, Mighty Joe Young, Inspector Gadget, and Bicentennial Man.
1975 to 1996 Sculptor, Photographer, Graphic Artist
Commissioned by various real estate developers to produce life-size bronze sculptures for public spaces. Some installations included water, sound, and laser light effects. Other sculptures adorn entrance-ways from commercial properties to a golf course. One such sculpture is installed at La Cita, an exclusive condominium project built around a golf course in Florida, designed by golf legend Lee Trevino. Other works of art remain in private collections throughout the United States and Canada. Chris has exhibited in galleries across North America including the world renowned Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.
Chris has extensive teaching and lecturing experience including Design Master at Sheridan College (School of Design) and Sculpture Instructor at Sir Sanford Fleming College, Ontario, Canada. Throughout Chris' career, photography has played a role in every facet of his work. From shooting in the studio, to the darkroom, or utilizing imaging software, Chris has embraced technological advancements that improve his craft.
